Second Podcast - First Baptist Church

Well this week I tried a video podcast. It took a little longer than last week and was a lot more confusing. I liked getting to know imovie. I had a great interview with Bruce, the University minister there at First Baptist. I had slight problems with pixelation...Garageband kept compressing my movie file when exporting or sharing to itunes. I have tried everything but can't figure it out.

Great job on your first video podcast. I know iMovie can be kind of weird, but it turned out great. I would suggest having some kind of picture or a list of points that you are presenting while you are talking since it is a video podcast. While you're talking, the viewer only sees a title at the beginning and a black screen until the video at the end, so we're expecting to see something else. Fill it in with some pictures, titles, or list of points. Hope this helps, great work!

One more thing, I did notice that it took a while for the video to load. Was it a huge file, or did it just take that long b/c it's a video?

It didn't take that long to load for me and I thought it turned out very good. I agree that you should have some sort of slide show or title screen instead of a black screen. I know many people that are involved in college ministries and would be interested in this. Audio and video at the end looked and sounded good. Great Job.

Great job dude. The effect you used to transition between photos is good and keeps each picture interesting. Also, I know this is your own art, and I have to give you props on that. You might want to find something to feel the black at the beginning. To much of it might make a viewer think something is wrong with their computer.

Nice work with the 2nd podcast. I like that you did a video podcast. Like the other guys said, the black part in the beginning can be filled in with a slide show or video. The interview was clear and informative. Nice introduction to the interview. Great job overall man!

I liked your use of photography during the podcast, and your interviews were genuine and informative. I've always been curious about the Paradigm program. The only area to change would be the black screen. I'd replace that with a single slide with episode info. Well done, amigo.

i also only saw a black screen when i tried viewing the podcast. the interview was very good however. i think the only reason i couldn't see the video was because of the computer i was on. hopefully i will be able to see the video on your next video podcast.
