Fourth podcast - Southcrest Baptist Church

Ok, so this week in the series was Southcrest University Ministry. This was pretty cool, I enjoyed getting to know a few of the guys over there and not to mention my two roommates go there. I went with just a single-camera format as Keith and I sat in his office to talk. I worked extensively in imovie and was proud of the extracted audio effect to blend video into stills while the audio still plays. I have a lot more footage of both preaching and the band but I could only have 10 min for the project. Since I shot it with the HDV camera, uploading the files to my machine took like 3 hours after formating to widescreen and letterboxing. I didn't get to put in as many stills as I usually do with projects but things worked out well. Audio worked better than last week with only a couple of skips. All in all, I'm happy with the product and believe it to be quality.

Very good video and I liked the use of stills between the video. I also liked the way you shot the interview this time compared to your last one. It turned out really nice, great job.

I like how you open the podcast with music from the different church involved. I think I prefer the way you shot the interview in this podcast as opposed to the previous one. The audio is pretty good considering the distance from the camera. Right before the location info is given, there is an abrupt video edit, a softer one might look better.

wow, definitely one of the best podcasts i've seen so far. your pictures and video are very professional and do a great job of making the viewer feel like they are actually at the church. how did you get your audio to sound so good during the interview? i love the effect you used to transition between photos, makes the video flow well.

Great balance of video. I love the way you ended with the same type of footage that you used at the beginning. You had a great interview and good quality video. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe get some close-up shots during your interview of whomever is speaking. I know that can be kind of hard especially if you only have one camera and no camera guy. Great job, once again!

Good job with the video podcast man! The interview was very informative and clear. The audio throughout the interview was at a stable level. The pictures at the end of the video with the use of fading away transitions was awesome. Great job once again & i look forward to your next podcast on churches in lubbock.

As usual, you upstage me yet again. It's getting annoying man. I get it- You are master of the Macs.
Your video was near flawless, and the transitions teamed with zoom effects created a very professional tone. Your material was great too; it had a lot of substance. Very well done amigo.

Man, I like the way you podcast. The intro is very good. I like the slow zoom on the singer. The intro of your voice is nicely timed and the tie in with still photos while you speak doesn't miss a beat. I think this is even more impressive because i know that you shoot all the still frames yourself. I like the information in the video. One thing that I am working on with my podcast and I think you might like to is finding a way to make interviews look not so distant on the small screen. Great podcast man.
